Principal’s Message

Anthony Elmore, Principal

Anthony Elmore, Principal TRANSCRIPT:

Hello, it’s Anthony Elmore from St Michael’s and this is a special message for our Year 7’s of 2021.

I certainly hope that you’re settling back into your final semester of Year 6 in your primary schools and looking forward to those special rites of passage that you will enjoy with your fellow Year 6 students as this year concludes.

I wanted to let you know that we’re thinking of you, we look forward to welcoming you here for our orientation activities. You are such an important part of the St Michael’s community and we can’t wait to be welcoming you here as members of our school community in your new, crisp uniforms for the start of 2021.

A very important message for our families that we would like to make sure that you’re all hearing and understanding, is that St Michael’s is here to support all families as we continue to navigate this COVID-19 situation, because we know, here on the Gold Coast, quite a number of families have been impacted as a result of this situation.

If that’s you and if you’re still wondering about how things will go for you in the new year, please reach out to us and have that conversation because every child, your daughters, your sons, will be supported here and we will support every family to ensure that your children can maintain their place here at St Michael’s for 2021.

We can’t wait to engage with you again. If you have any questions while you’re waiting for that orientation process, pick up the phone, get in touch with Kris our enrolments officer or contact me directly and we can arrange for a conversation.

Enjoy semester two, enjoy those rites of passage. Remember, schooling is about joy and happiness.

Take care, until we get to have a chat again, enjoy semester two.
